Are we supposed to believe that thousands and thousands of Slatkin candles are made from ingredients from Elton’s 37 acres? Give me a break.

Nah, I don’t think so. If she did I would sue the doctor.

Hosts have always said that they can’t take time off this time of year. If it were to have work done, I would think it would be after the holidays. Pat also sounded concerned when she filled in for her and said Jane we’re thinking of you. I think it was something personal with her daughter in Florida, since she did go there.

:detective: :detective: :detective: I also thought she may have been off for construction work. What I do know for certain ..it was NOT for a Brazilian Butt Lift.

I asked QVC if these candles are manufactured in China? And their response was “we do not have an answer for your question” I remember a few years ago a news story that some candles and air fresheners are actually toxic and some fatalities were mentioned. You know all these scented items include many chemicals to not only imitate the smells but the colors as well.

I have Elton candles that I purchased from the last TSV.

The labels indicate that they are manufactured in Vietnam.

I would assume that these new ones are the same?

   Not all that long ago, QVC would actually state the name of the country where each product was manufactured. Now the information provided simply states “IMPORTED.” Very few products are manufactured in the United States.

I have not been watching the Q lately. Did they have their “complete” Lenox flatware service on again this year? The one where they talk about the same Lenox quality as your grandmother’s set, but omit the fact that Lenox sold their name several years ago, so it is now made somewhere in Asia? They also omit the fact that no Lenox-branded product is made in the USA anymore, and hasn’t been for several years. This has been a pet peeve of mine every year, and I hope they finally stopped it. Talk about hiding the truth from consumers. FYI, there is only one company in the USA that makes flatware at this time. Liberty Tabletop is using the old Oneida flatware factory (Oneida also sold their name to who knows who), and they make an excellent product. Their range of patterns is very impressive. I bought mine from them when they were first starting, and I’m very happy with the quality.

I’m watching on mute and the first item being sold is some pain relief spray called “Relaxium Flexium. “. :joy::joy:. The name alone makes me think it’s a scam. It sounds like something a magician would say over a top hat or the body he’s going to saw in half. “Relaxium flexium, abra cadabra!” :joy:

Selling Bethlehem Lights candles this afternoon, RachelB emphasized that these candles will last, unlike the ones that burn and then they’re gone. Just a day after the TSV Elton John candles, that burn and then they’re gone. Take that Elton/Harry!
