QVC Live Discussion (Part 2)

Aimee Kestenberg needs a hair makeover…

On Leah’s morning show, she throws out a “wear to wear” question that has 3 activity options for an outfit that she’s put together. In today’s show she included a Susan Graver top in the outfit. The choices were things like museums, farmers market trips, places like that. She should’ve included going to BINGO at the local casino. That top is boring and unfashionable.

She is aggravating as hell, won’t shut up, running around, interrupting, moving the bag out of the shot when the camera comes in close. I don’t remember her being this obnoxious.

I caught a few minutes of her at the midnight TSV airing and there was a rack of nothing-special knit midi dresses that she designed (and looked like something I could find at Walmart) and she launches into “Oh I can show which of these bags pairs with each dress” and I think it was Courtney had to direct her back to discussing just the bags. It was strange, sort of aggressive and I also don’t remember her being like this.

Maybe she’s trying to cash in while QVC is still afloat.

She told a story about her family living through the Holocaust and how they immigrated to Australia. She said that they sewed and repaired clothing for people to earn a living. When she finished HS she applied to fashion design school and didn’t get in. So she got
Into an engineering school. And that led her to designing handbags. But now she is living her dream of designing clothes. She seems pretty “assertive” and someone who seems used to having her own way.

Now Amy is wearing black glasses too ? Not quite Magoo but close. Is this new for her ?

   Someone please steal those plastic slides right off of Amy’s feet and toss them in a dumpster. Then set it on fire. I bet she sleeps in those freaking shoes. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if they actually fit.

Dear God, I just saw Judy Krowel selling a hair regrow device. These old hosts never really go away. Doesn’t say much for their career goals.

These product reps make good money. I don’t blame Judy; her career has been in television sales.

I think that everyone is wearing (promoting) reading glasses because they are selling a new set.

 :hugs:  Judy Crowell is one of the lost generation of hosts from the old days when QVC actually had high standards.

Haven’t watched the Q in awhile so WFH today, I needed background noise. I play it through their site and when I switched to that browser window at the top of the hour to see what crap they were selling, I literally yelled out, WTF???

WHAT on earth is Courtney doing to her face??? She is so hopped up on fillers, she looks like a damn freak. When she first started at the network, she had such a beautiful, unique, exotic look. Now she looks like every plastic human-turned-Bratz-Real-Housewife out there. So sad and quite pathetic, really. I hope her daughter doesn’t grow up with those insecurities. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

JONNYSBRO is off their meds again and posting super weird screeds about Lisa Robertson on the Q boards.

Just turned on the Q, yes what has happened to Courtney, she looks so fake. I always thought she was very pretty and what is up with the GoGo boots she is wearing?

It also looks like she’s in a full wig/ more than just her usual extensions.

I flipped on Rastelli’s on QVC 2 for a laugh. IDK how good the hot dogs are, but they’re somewhere above $3 per hot dog. My question is, WHY do they press on the damn halved thing 50 times to push the juice out?! Is there ANYONE who finds that appetizing? It’s GROSS.

Cook it up with some grill marks, stick it on a bun and put some mustard on it. Normal hot dog advertising.

Speaking of ridiculous food, check out how much these calzones cost!:

Doesn’t seem outrageously priced to me. Eighty dollars for eight calzones is cheap where I live, as local restaurants are charging $10-$16 apiece.

QVC food prices do run high on most foods, but not for their calzones.

I paint a little for fun and thought this would look nice on canvas but on closer look i thought it looks a bit like Melania Trump. No way do i want to immortalize that and have it in my house.
