Why is her go-to sales technique to crap on one of the brands that they sell at her place of business (and typically one that she has “loved” in the past) so that she can find a way to say something positive about whatever she’s selling at the moment? I wouldn’t think that her supervisors would be happy about that, but she does it repeatedly.
another reason the biz is circling the drain
I didn’t realize that Slatkin Hand Wash came in Cabernet, Zinfandel, and Asti Spumante fragrances.
Yet another of the many reasons that her continued employment is a complete puzzle. Management cannot think that is cute. Plus, the Philosophy brand should be pretty mad since they have been a constant presence for decades. She just has the compulsion to put something/someone down so she can inflate something else. That is totally unnecessary and annoying and unprofessional. And, that’s our Skunk!
Kim G. sells handbags now ? Is she not on enough ? Is she not making enough money ? ![]()
The only thing Kim is about is making money. Reading her pitch about training others to sell should make it pretty clear that she views everything and everyone as an opportunity to enrich herself.
But, but, if you want to learn how to sell, wouldn’t you sign up for Mistress Jennifer’s classes? Let’s see - how much money has Kim G earned selling? And, Ms. Coffey? Tough choice, isn’t it? They are both such fakes, but I guess that’s who you have to be to be successful talking people into buying crap.
As much as I can’t stand Kim G’s Foghorn Leghorn schtick, she’s found a devoted customer base at the Q. Last night there were calls to her show with Rachel B from her adoring fans, claiming to have closets full of her clothing. She never misses an opportunity to mention her other product lines, like handbags, makeup or home decor and upsell, upsell, upsell. Remains to be seen how long she can ride this wave.
Kim’s taking full advantage of the opportunity that she has now. Her QVC domination will all come crashing down at some point, so she’s out to make as much as she can. Even though I can’t stand her, I think she’s a smart business woman.
Decided to put on Skechers for a few. I guess I’m a glutton for punishment LOL
Rachel Boesing is hosting and I don’t mind her so much. However, either Rachel or her cohost (?) said they used to work red carpet events and could see someone wearing the Skechers sneaker they were discussing to a red carpet event. Well, maybe but I think that’s a bit of a stretch. Then again, I’m no fashion expert.
Then Rachel mentioned something about wearing them to go to a number of places. Among others, Sea World, and “the happiest place on earth.” Is everyone at QVC obsessed with Disney? It’s weird!
OMG I was waiting for her to tell us her size… again. And of course, she managed to work it in. She said, “My foot are a 9.” What.
Just flipped thru the channels and landed on the Q. What in the kaftan world is this. Some sort of house coat/moo moo. Hideous!!!
It’s from Stan Herman and he has his fans.
Speaking of hideous, earlier today Lori G had Amy S and Jamie the model decked out in an unholy horizontal striped sweater over top of a tunic length tank which had pointy triangles of lace at the bottom. One of the points hung right over their crotches. Oh, and all this paired with bucket hats.
I felt bad for poor Amy and Jamie. Even if they’re paid to wear this crap, they probably felt like clowns.
Bucket hats…

…it’s not too late to whip it good!
I think that Jayne Brown is a beautiful woman. During the pandemic, because many people weren’t going to hairdressers for cuts and colors, her gray hair started to grow out and her hair was fairly long. Right after that, she got the buzz cut, which I assumed was a way to rid herself of the dyed hair and then grow out only natural hair. But she has kept the cut, and it looks even shorter now. I know that many women like really short haircuts, but I don’t think it looks that great on her. It makes her head look too small for her body IMO. She is a lovely woman and doesn’t need the softening effect of longer hair to offset the ears and nose like Jane does. But a little more hair, to me, would look better.
I agree, she is very attractive but that hair cut does nothing for her.
I think she is pretty active with tennis and dancing, so maybe it is just easier for her to not have to deal with hair? I do wish she could talk Leah into trimming some of hers (or her wigs).
I remember Jayne saying, shortly after the haircut, that she just didn’t want to deal with long hair anymore, especially as she got older.
