Just your average typical Monday morning at QRate Corporate Headquarters.

I had an interview at QVC last year. Spoiler Alert. I didnāt get the job. I donāt live far from West Chester where the studio is located. It was for a low rung job. I didnāt do it for the salary. I just wanted for the free health insurance and the company 40% discount.
After, the interview the interviewer took me on a tour behind the scenes. The first stop was where they kept all the clothes. There were racks and racks and racks of clothes with names of the designers we are all unfortunately familiar with. LOL!!! It was quite fascinating. He was then about to take back stage. A show was airing but I canāt recall what or who it was. I literally ran into Terri Conn while we were standing there. She came barreling off the stage opening a huge silver door because she had to run to another set and make it on time. It was pretty funny. The guy said, thatās Terri Conn. in my head I said, no itās not. Thatās Katie Peretti from ATWT. IYKYK. I was told the reason I didnāt get the job was because I didnāt have any live tv experience. Duh! Was that on my resume? No. Why the heck call me in then for an interview?! LOL!!! Truthfully, I didnāt really want the job (I was basically retiring by then) and, I knew I didnāt want to work those crazy hours. Iām sure some 20 or 30 year old needed the job more than me. Thatās my QVC story.
Ree Drummond kinda boring, nothing I couldnāt find anywhere else
For less money than theyāre charging for her vanity line.
40% discount??? Wow!
the NORMAL retail price??
Saw a cute Gravel top I wanted, A719620 - $49.99 (on sale!).
Then on Amazon I found another almost identical top - $12.99.
Guess which one I bought? Actually I got two, one in blue and one in purple, for less than the Gravel version. With free shipping.
Moral of the story: you can almost always find an Amazon version of QVC apparel for way less. Often at same or better quality. Donāt overlook Amazon for clothes shopping.
I always say Gravel has nice stuff (for my 91 year old mother) but her stuff is always $20-25 over priced. The other day she had some shirt sort of thingy and it was $70 plus. QVC really doesnāt know their demographic or the current state of affairs thus them potentially filing for bankruptcy. They deserve to go under.
Just heard one of the models say that the Capri pants, the TSV, can take you from the garden to the theater. Maybe the garden, but definitely not the theater.
They do this with everything. Itās an elevate moment! Theyāll be selling flip flops and say you can elevate them - āYou can wear these to go pick up the dog shit in your yard, and you can wear them to the opera!ā
Amyās toes!!! NO! NO! NO!!! Why are we constantly subjected to those freaks of nature??? ![]()
When the camera panned to the in-studio audience, I thought I was looking at a shot from the Gucci runway show during Paris fashion week ⦠NOT! ![]()
those below the knee leggings are awful
I like some of Gravelās stuff, and Iām not 91!
. I am, however, 68 and that may be much older than some here. I agree that her prices, and most of Qās clothing, are way too high.
iām 66. i like her jeans/capri stuff. i think her tops look cheap though.
Every time I see a Gravel on sale, I check Poshmark and eBay and can usually find it for a fraction of the price. I just got a pair of NWOT tags Miz Mooz sandals for $35 and free shipping on eBay, while the Q was selling them for $70 with $6 ahipping.
It would help if someone took her to the groomer to get those hooves trimmed.
support your ebay an Posh sellers
ebay has tons of excess Q stuff, they must have overbought inventory
Itās more her splayed toes than talons. I think all feet are nasty (never wore or owned open-toed shoes; never will) but I just gag when I see a lot of spaces between toes or an unusually long middle toe hanging over the edge of the sole of a sandal. Yuck!
