wasn’t there a Dyson vac ts recenlty

I know I’m exaggerating but it seems like this year they’ve had a Dyson TSV at least once a month. Do they hawk this brand so intensively because it’s a big moneymaker for them? I don’t get it - Dyson vacs are a major purchase for most people and aren’t an item they need multiples of or replace very often. Not to mention that they give almost equal air time to the Shark vacs.

The Q used to push Vitamix blenders just as hard, to the point where it seemed like they wouldn’t be satisfied until every home had at least one. I guess they’ve saturated their market for blenders and now have the same goal for vacuum cleaners.

I for one would rather see them put more emphasis on introducing more innovative new products.

Speaking of appliances, has anyone else received a recall notice from QVC about Oster countertop ovens? I was surprised by the recall email because I’ve been using my Oster for years with no issues. And I use it almost every day.

The recall notice is on the Q website. It’s about specific models with the french door opening. It has snapped back in some instances causing a variety of burns.

Watching John B aka the aging chorus boy selling silver jewelry (he’s not a bad host) but the rep is selling from her home infront of her stairway

So sloppy like so many of their presentations

I have a Ninja double oven now, but I used to have the Oster with the French doors. Other than the doors snapping back, which mine did from the start, it works great. I would have liked the tool or whatever stopped the snapping back, but I managed to work around it, with no major issues.

I think they are trying to sell what they have stocked up in the warehouse. Anything new is out of their budget.

If it’s already in the warehouse why are there advance orders?

Admittedly I don’t understand the business model with this, but maybe a previous order is coming in from overseas or is sitting on a West Coast dock?

LocknLock on “In the Kitchen with notDavid” yesterday made a big to-do about (Sister)Mary Louise Ludwig being the new OAP. Today it’s on presented by Janine Furillo.

Stacey Stauffer has taken over for Mark Charles as the Cuisinart rep.

Chef Jeremy and Jessie OliveOyl do the Kuhn Rikon and Henning Lee stuff.

She’s so proficient with presentations that Stacey should just come back as a host (bet she doesn’t want to…)

There were quite a few who agreed that she is insufferable, but then her followers jumped in to ask what she ever did to us, and the usual women should support women crap and then poof!

Anyone watching Denim and Co with Monifa?

Seems like she lost a lot of weight and I think looks great in what she’s wearing.

Pam also looks like she’s losing weight. They both look great!

Women (and everyone, but I know what they’re saying) should support women who deserve support. Not phonies who fail at life.
