Funny you should post that, as I recently read (can’t remember where) that a solution of baking soda and water is effective.
I am somewhat intrigued by today’s TS, which is 118 of David’s Cookies, unbaked and sent frozen. Seems like not a bad deal, but only about $6 off the regular price.
Anyone tried them?
I’ve ordered them quite a few times. I really like them and I‘ll be getting at least one set of these cookies. I used to be a big Xmas cookie baker, but it’s just too much work, so I supplement a few batches of homemade with these. The butter pecan meltaways are delicious…roll them in powder sugar after they cool…yum!! The price is very good. The most common complaint I’ve seen in reviews is from people who ordered in the warm weather months…the dough arrived melted. I’ve only gotten them around the holidays. I highly reccomend them!
I didn’t watch an HSN presentation, so how is the David’s representative there?
QVC now has the ubiquitous Jessie Holeva, whose voice is treacherous, and I’m usually very tolerant in regard to vocals!
She has also taken some of MarkCharles’ responsibilities, so she’s everywhere.
Not just her voice but something about her face makes me want to slap her.
The HSN rep is someone I call “giant crucifix woman” because she always wears a big ol’ cross around her neck. She’s pretty dopey and does a bunch of housewares stuff for them.
Insomnia last night, turned on HSN for a few.
The main focus of this Nina Leonard sweater is the stud detail…
Even my exhausted mind couldn’t miss this.
Watched some of the shoe shows on HSN. Seems like pointed-toe shoes are in this year. Not for me!
Colleen Lopez is currently on HSN doing an Absolute Brilliance jewelry show with Paul Wood, and mentioned that her show was a remote broadcast from a studio in Florida. It’s evident that Paul Wood is in another location, perhaps in Studio Park. Weren’t they shutting down all operations in Florida, or is this how they’re hanging on to some hosts, by keeping some studio operations there?
I don’t think that Colleen’s been considered a “host” for several years.
I bet that the “studio” she’s in right now is rented space.
The HSN facility has been up for sale and I read local municipalities are considering its purchase.
Colleen is probably appearing live from the newly renovated laundry room in her basement.
Definitely looks that way!
They’re selling red light therapy masks and I keep laughing whenever they put it on! ![]()
She just used the usual BS sales pitch. “Look how nice the box is! It makes such a nice gift!” Why do they think we care about the packaging? And meanwhile most of their products arrive in plain brown boxes with dents and gouges. ![]()
I am interested in today’s Nespresso TS. I’m not an espresso drinker, but I have found that Nespresso coffee is more flavorful than my drip machine. I like that the pods can be recycled. Anyone here have one? Any thoughts?
I have a similar one and I love it. The coffee is better than any other coffeemaker I use. The deal is also really good, and I usually buy pods on Woot at a big discount.
Thanks for the info! I thought it was a good deal too. ![]()

Any techies here? This is so weird. I have problems ordering from HSN on my iPad and my iPhone, but not our desktop (also an Apple product). On the mobile devices, it won’t accept my password. So I go through the process of choosing a new password (the same as my old one). It may then ask me to do the “click on the photos with a bicycle,” etc. Over and over it won’t accept me. ![]()

Any ideas?
Are you using the HSN app or the website?
The website, because I wanted to use the 4% Rakuten rebate. Can I use Rakuten with an app? ![]()
Heidi is on right now and didn’t even know that one of her jewelry pieces (a gawdy starfish on a rope) was an enhancer and could come off the rope. The host had to show her. Really? I thought she was the “designer”? I wonder if she even has anything to do with this crap (other than put her name on it and take the $). $70 for an ugly starfish on a rope…pfffffttt!
