Good for him! I really like him but it was hard for me to see him because that would mean I’d be watching a Logo show. I’ve always respected his long term relationship/now marriage. Maybe they can now move to the warmer climes.

I’ll miss George on my local Philly station. He gave fashion tips, featured local shops and judged the ladies’ hat contest at the Devon Horse Show. But, onward, ever onward!

Watching the “At Home with Jorge Perez” Fall show on ShopHQ with Melissa Miner. Presenting a large black and white Harlequin ceramic pumpkin, Melissa asked, “Hmm, does this remind you of anything?” Jorge quipped, “Yes, but mine is ceramic and it’s $60, not $599.99!” Melissa told him, “Be careful now!” That is why Jorge is one of my favorite guest presenters!

I deleted my own comment in error. When shopping channels start knocking other shopping channels you can tell they are really desperate to make a sale. If Jorge was repping McKenzie Child he would be drooling over it no matter what the price. I was in a TJMaxx (Home Goods) recently and they had aisle after aisle of Halloween items, I never saw so many in one store. The prices would put Jorge’s $60 pumpkin to shame.

I saw this earlier today too, the day after I spoke to a woman who only ordered one time from QVC, she said it was a Jilly Martin v neck t-shirt.
Personally I can’t stand Jilly but to each their own.

This is a non favorite guest presenters post. Jennie Garth. I enjoyed her appearances first time out. This morning (and last night) not so much. Last night she seemed like the high school girl who lived in her own clique and was dismissive of anyone else. This morning she seemed annoyed to have to be on AM Style with Leah and it made me want to find a hook to get her off stage. I don’t mind her clothing, but she can go. Am I over-reacting? I mean, last night she was on with Shawn so that is a shit show anyway but she seemed to want to sidle up to Shawn’s butt for sure. It was like her clique surrounded her but the mean girl was not far from the surface.

@MidwestCrabby Granted, I had to turn off the sound last night (bc Shawn) but its been the opposite for me. When Jennie and Tori first appeared on the Q I was shocked how awful they were. I do think hosting is a particular skill set, but the two women looked like they had almost no on-camera experience and I found them both kind of dismissive.
I thought they were both much more engaging when they returned this summer, but Jennie still does have a lot of room for improvement.

Oh I did not like when she was paired up with Tori on the home goods line. The line was nothing special and the two of them didn’t have presence either. I thought she seemed a bit more polite and pleased to be there on her first “Me” presentation week. But ya know, it’s all bad to me. Stacey London’s clothing may not suit my taste (it doesn’t, so far) but she knows how to present.

I’m reading on FB that Justin Sochovka (Apple OAP) is now a new program host on QVC. Also that there are 4 new hosts total (other ones not announced as far as I can tell.)
What could this possibly mean for our part timers, Kerstinky and JenJen?

Justin will be a great host.
He does an excellent job of presenting and explaining electronics, so should do equally well with other categories.
