I honestly don’t care how much a host weighs…what I DO hate is the blatant lies and qvc’s bullshit sizing that isn’t even remotely close to retail sizes. Are they all that insecure that they HAVE to compete in the sizing department? I’m in the small but could really size down to the xxs… I’m in the size 4 but could easily slip into a 2 or 0. They are “allegedly” 50 and fabulous but still extremely competitive when it comes to size. Grow the fuck up. Seriously. Nobody cares and we all know that you lie people.
Yes! I had to go back and look again, you’re absolutely right. I don’t understand why she wears stuff that makes her look bad a vast majority of the time. Makes no sense.
Sorry but if Jane cannot do her job wearing the clothing to the best of their advantage, she belongs in a different job. She is paid to display clothing and shoes. So many have said she wears unflattering clothes but she just looks bad in most of what she wears. She is paid to sell. Corporate fired Carolyn because she looked bad in what she was selling? Jane needs to wake up. I suspect her job is in jeopardy.
I agree that Jane should be honest about her clothing sizes. I am only saying that a woman of her age can be active but still struggle with weight.
I can relate to the weight gain as I’m the same age as Blabby (well technically I’m 62.6 in Janespeak). I’m finding it so much harder to drop weight now. The reality sucks.
It’s all the lies about her size that gets me. It opens her up to more criticism that easily crosses into unwarranted.
That dress she’s wearing in the pic above looks so good on her, she should find a seamstress who can look at it and make the pattern, and get a few more.
I wonder if these hosts ever go back and watch replays of themselves. I’m sure they look a lot different on TV than in a mirror in their dressing room. In my opinion, the Q made a huge mistake when they started making the hosts wear Q clothing. The models are professionals in showing clothes, and do not lie about their size. Not every style is flattering on every person. There have to be many, many complaints from viewers about sizing. Why do TPTB ignore their customers? I have no idea how customers ever buy the correct size based on the lies of the hosts. IMO the hosts should dress nicely in their own clothing that fits and flatters them. I also wonder why the Q has invested so heavily in clown costumes instead of clothing that people can wear often and want to keep in their closet. I guess no one in the head office really cares anymore. Sad.
Previously, I recall complaints about “why don’t the hosts wear the clothes they are selling,” so there will be comments either way.
I hardly ever see Pat, but I do watch how clothes look on her, because we have similar body build ( thick in the middle). She is many sizes smaller than me, though!
That’s why they allow free shipping if you have to change the size. But if they are out of your size they do not refund shipping. Unless you call and make a stink, then maybe you get your money back.
but it’s telling that most of the hosts and some models look terrible in the clothing for sale,
MBR , JT and Mary as examples
If the clothes to be presented during a show look bad on the host, why can’t they be allowed to wear garments from Q inventory that they look good in? Then the models could show the clothes to their best advantage, and the host could say something like “By the way, I’m wearing a dress from (fill in the Brand owner) collection. If you would like it, it’s item Axxxxxx.”
Maybe the current OAP would not like another collection referred to during their show though I did hear it done a couple of times.
A lot of the problem of looking bad in the clothes comes from wearing the wrong size. If Jane wore her correct size Large and avoided cropped length, she’d solve a lot of this,. Customers know every woman can’t wear every style so no shame in
Cropped pants make short women look shorter, broader, and chunkier - as someone who’s 5’1 (barely), I know this well. Jane should too. She should also wear her true size and admit to it instead of pretending to wear an XS. I’d also like her to learn this: Jane, you may like an outfit, but DON’T wear it if it’s skin tight, too young for you, hip hugging, or Disney themed when you’re not at the theme park.
In her younger days, Jane often used to brag on air about her petiteness. Obviously that ship has sailed (around the time the Blabberinas were born but cruising faster lately). It’s time she started believing what her Magic Mirror is really showing her. Or get magic glasses so she can see the truth.
for some reason it looks like she just got out of prison to me…
I think I found Blabby’s spirit animal!
Do we find it significant that not only are Blabby and FauxCo rarely cohosts anymore, but they are often scheduled opposite each other (main channel v Q2)?
Latching, youth imbibing, lamprey eel vampire that she is, I wonder if Janie has replaced Courtney with one of the newest hosts…
Rachel Ellis seems like her type.
hmm interesting comment
Yes, New Rachel does seem like she’d be highly impressionable and moldable. Let’s keep watching for her to display symptoms of Disneymania and a penchant for ill-fitting, unflattering outfits. And see if “literally” starts becoming her catchphrase.
Yes, the naive, vulnerable ingenue who unwisely invites The Undead into her home.
