So apparently you’re supposed to:
Get 8 hours of sleep
Drink 8 glasses of water
Eat plenty of fruits, veggies, fiber and protein
Take your supplements
Exercise
Get some sunshine
Read and/or journal
Be a good employee and work at least 8 hours
Have a healthy social life
Have a healthy relationship
Look pulled together, well dressed and groomed
Be a good parent
Prepare three meals a day
Be polite and cordial and corporate
And have hobbies??
And do it all again tomorrow?
No one pulls this all off and yes,
everyone is doing the best they can.
You’re allowed to be a mess and it isn’t a bad thing at all.
It means you’re living this beautiful life.
And a beautiful life isn’t always the traditionally-portrayed life you see “out there.”

Jen is so inspirational after all she’s a life coach a wellness coach, starting her own blog. She’s a spin instructor, yoga instructor, hot yoga, runs and can officiate weddings, which she will marry one lucky couple before her wedding, writes books. It must be exhausting being Jen Coffey, after all she won’t stop talking until we are living our dreams. Ain’t that sweet!

It’s one thing to have confidence and to be working on self-love, self-care, living your best life, etc. This is a life-long journey for all of us and it’s unattainable for many. Some folks ultimately learn that TRULY serving others in relative anonymity and humility is the path to joy and fulfillment. Not social media likes, not posing in microbikinis, not vacations or missioncations, not marrying some rich dude.
What I find objectionable about many of the QVC hosts is that they are glorified infomercial sales people, no more skilled than a carnival barker, yet they believe their own press and bask in their unearned smug self-importance.
Kerstin, Jen, and Shawn are the top three offenders, but I’m sure there are others I’m not thinking of.

I agree with all of this except that they are “glorified infomercial sales people.” I see them as sales associates like any other sales associates in any context. We feed into their ego when we refer to them as hosts. JMHO

I get QVC posts in my FB feed, and lately there are ones with Gracie three inches from her webcam prattling on. I disliked her a great deal pre-“layoff” and find her insufferable now. I used to love gardening shows but mostly avoid them now because she always struts in and acts like she owns the place. Fire her again, QVC. Figures they would essentially reverse the one decent move they have made in the past few years.

I saw her the day they fired her. She had disheveled hair, busting out of her too tight clothing and swollen stomach. She was selling D&C clothing. I remember thinking how could anyone hire her? Next day I read she was fired.

I don’t understand why she never got her teeth fixed. Horrible smile with crooked fangs. Cannot stand her, never could. She is an insufferable bitch. I know first hand from way back in 2007.

Gary may still be friends with Caro off air but he seems MUCH happier working with Jayne lately. He looks like he lost some weight, seems in better spirits and even did a little dance at the opening of his show (fka The Garolyn Show) with Jayne last week.

Yes, I saw the dance at the show opening and have seen him and Jayne dancing when their show is about to be over. Meanwhile, back at face book, when Caro posts, she gets tons of O how We Miss You, Jayne is ok but it Will Never be The Same, etc. She does have tons of fans. I think Jayne and Gary work well together but Gary can work well with anyone. Nice to see you here.

She posted this for lunch. 100 plus meals. Ridiculous! She thinks she’s better than the rest of us because of the rich dude.This place is Eddie V’s a very expensive restaurant, go figure. I wonder what’s for dinner?
