HSN Live Discussion

I adore Curtis.

His cookware is the best I’ve bought and I’ve sampled just about everything home shopping has offered.

Never purchased any of his food however.

I agree. I have many (too many) of his pans and gadgets and usually enjoy his presentations. He sure knows his products! I did buy the salmon once, but I don’t eat that much, so I ended up giving most away.

And, I agree with @Wabbit about that Adam host. He sounds like he has a mouth full of marbles.

I was a big Curtis Stone fan after my first purchase of a TS of two Durapan pans, a skillet and a wok-shaped pan. That was at least three years ago, and both pans are still fantastic.

Soon after I bought his 3qt back burner pot, also a great buy.

But maybe two years ago I bought the TS of two rectangular pans, one a griddle, the other a grill, both with one sloped edge to slide things off. They are GARBAGE. The griddle lost its nonstick within months (didn’t peel or anything like that, it just stopped working; making eggs in that pan was a nightmare before I disposed of it). I have no idea if I got a lemon or the quality of his stuff has declined as he has had to produce more for TS days, but I don’t plan to buy anything more from him after that. A real drag because I was hoping I wouldn’t have to find a new cookware brand.

I don’t really get him doing the Rastelli or Egg Harbor name change but I agree JohnnyStar, I have friends with his cookware and they say it’s excellent

Not the craziest outfit I’ve seen, but still… interesting. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

:joy::joy::joy: Adam looks as though he’s about to knock her down or choke her.

Maybe both?

A most unfortunate outfit from Christie Brinkley’s collection on Debbie D. last night. The pants are ill-fitting (to say the least), and the top does nothing for her - bold horizontal stripes, puffy sleeves and too short. Just say no.

She looks like a hick.

Debbie D taking one for the team!

I don’t watch her a lot, but when I do, I appreciate that she owns her size. She is tall enough that some outfits look better than I would expect on her.

What on Earth? Did the OAP with Adam check herself in the mirror before going on TV?
Kamela Toe pants with wrinkles looks awful not to mention the polka dot jacket!

I like Debbie D. But wide leg pants don’t look good on plus size people. You have to have long lean legs to pull them off. Poor Debbie

Debbie D actually does have long, nicely shaped legs in my opinion. She is very tall and carries her weight on the top part of her body.

I love Debbie D! She’s funny and lively.

And I miss Alyce From Dallas.

Debbie D was a newscaster here in Dallas before she joined HSN. Crossed paths a couple times when we were downtown, and she was very nice & talkative both times we said hi to her.

Another Too Tight Club inductee. The model was squeezed into a Nina Leonard cold shoulder sweater.

HSN had several poll-worthy looks last night and today. First, there was this mishmosh of Christian Siriano pieces. You can tell by the model’s expression that she just saw herself in the monitor.
