HSN Live Discussion

I don’t need anything new, but I always like to watch Samantha for her tips about travel and how to pack intelligently!

Professional Traveler seems like a really great gig.

I miss her shows on the Travel Channel, especially Great Hotels!

Remember a time when the Travel Channel was about travel and the History Channel was about history? Now it’s all whales and ghosts, playing 24/7 for your viewing pleasure!

Emeril by Henckels is a good idea for once! :exploding_head: Price is high, but these look like quality products.

The food, not so much. How does a steak look both raw and dry?

I have a Samantha Brown rolling suitcase and carry-on bag that I’ve had for at least 12 years and in still great shape. I’ve taken it to Paris 3 times.

I’m not a coin collector. Is this a good deal? $1499 seems a little steep…

Looks like some quality goods that were being sold on HSN.

:grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: While I was checking out the spontaneous combustion smart watch, another gadget sold by QRate magically appeared. The Item is sold as a great little genius product to take to the office, or to send off to school with your college kids … I think not!

Not the first recall involving this company/HSN. There was another one LAST MONTH for a steamer! https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2025/Deale-International-Recalls-CasaClean-Handheld-Steamers-Due-to-Risk-of-Serious-Burn-Injury-Sold-on-HSN

I’m watching a Marla Wynne show that started at 7 pm Central time. Marla is not there, and I think it’s her daughter presenting remotely.

Wondering if they dug out a bunch of old inventory, as I have not seen one thing that is flattering The first topper/jacket was short and stiff and stuck out in back. Odd prints, reminding me of the 1990’s. But it was $100 off!!! :joy:

Satin blouse and tank — eeee :grimacing:. Satin is a hard fabric to wear.

Faux suede wide-leg pleated pants; ill-fitting. Daughter has them slung low on her body, host is letting the belt hang down from the fastening (a pet peeve of mine; might just be me!). Sloppy looking.

Faux suede blazer to match the pants — is oversized and loose.

:face_with_spiral_eyes::face_with_spiral_eyes::grimacing::grimacing:

Ope, now flatter-fit pants. Perhaps returning to the 2000’s now?

I’m watching on mute while I try to read a book ….

Will she be selling any food ? Nobody can quite do a food-gasm like Sharon.

Sharon replaced Alexandra Baker as the representative for Winter Lane.

I watched her this afternoon.

Sharon’s yum yum face was even more grotesque than Diva’s!

I just got a recall notice that a tiny teapot from Wolfgang Puck, that I bought years ago, has been recalled for being a burn hazard. I don’t even know if I have it anymore, since it was cute, but too small to be useful. Good that they keep records. I wonder if QVC has sent out any based on how many of the latest TSVs they have had that have been recalled.

HSN seems to have gotten better models since they moved to PA. The first batch were grim-faced women who looked like they never modeled a day in their life.

I noticed that they sometimes are using the same blonde model in their online photos that QVC frequently uses.

Yes! The hair tosser.

I think this is a really pretty cami and sweater from Christie Brinkley. I can’t wear it, but I like it!

Much of Christie’s stuff looks nice. I wonder if she’s going to fill the gap left by Iman’s departure. Iman was a staple with a TS almost every month.

HSN doesn’t have that many lines other than DG, Giuliana, maybe Marla Wynne.

Democracy has great jeans and Antthony’s executive stretch pants are super nice.
