Katrina was my favorite host during her short tenure at the Q.
She had legitimate rapport and friendships with Dennis and Isaac and clearly surpassed the pedestrian knowledge of the “fashion mavens.”
They were lucky to have her during that time and she was probably lucky to get out before the 50+ promotion. Too much class for that!
She definitely elevated the conversation as far as fashion goes, not only with current styles but also in working with legit designers. Jason Wu used to have a pretty big presence on there but disappeared shortly after Szish left. Ultimately I couldn’t see her still being on the Q now. I don’t think she’d want to be shilling for the trash in-house brands they have & couldn’t see her gettling along with Kim G. very well at all.
It’s been a while but I liked Dave King. But I also kind of love Rick and think the Q could use more snarky dudes in suit jackets. Dave used to show up in my feed every so often, mentioning an acting gig or selling some pricey real estate in Manhattan Beach. But it’s been crickets for a while.
I have been somewhat fascinated by Lisa Robertson’s journey to the Bahamas. I liked the way she interacted with her employees, then all of a sudden everyone was gone and her boyfriend’s daughter was the only one appearing with her on FB. (I also loved her old home. The farmland was beautiful but it would take a serious decorator budget to make those huge rooms look warm.)
I liked Dave King, too. Handsome, funny, and had an easy-to-listen-to voice.
I don’t follow Lisa, but once in a while I read comments about her. I thought the sales from her home thing was weird. She really did drop her life, marry that guy, and move on. Hope she is happy.
Antonella and her husband are the Scarlett O’Hara and Rhett Butler of the high seas. And yes indeed, they do depend on The Kindness of Strangers.
So are they living in the Bahamas permanently? Kinda strange. I guess he found his “miracle” too. 
Lisa has posted they are undecided about how much time they’ll spend there, but it looks like she’s spending a mint fixing just the pool.
I can’t help but wonder how much money she’s spent since she met this guy. Sooner or later the money’s gonna run out. What happened to the travel & tour business that they were going to run “together?”

I think the real Antonella has emerged, and it’s not a comforting sight. It’s actually manic.
There’s no longer a pricey mortgaged mansion to live in, no pool to swim in, furniture is gone, no savings left, wandering around from child to child, looking for a place to stay. Explain to me why people with major medical conditions live this way. I don’t think it’s by choice, I think it’s bad investment, poor planning for the future, and a lot of overspending.
And the YouTube videos. I can’t even begin to understand what her point is, other than to share her ongoing financial woes, hinting for donations.
Sell the boat, inquire about low cost apartment rentals for 55+ adults, and get back to work, you AND your husband.
And please stop with the sharing of embarrassing personal information about your children’s mental health struggles. They’ve been through enough already.
I’m sure the hours are better.
Lisa’s recent fb video showing her pool under construction, she actually spoke for 45 min straight without ever showing herself! She shared that the pool will be complete and filled on Fri. She and Jeffypoo permanently live in the Bahamas now and they love it. She showed off her sea shell collection too. Family is visiting this week, they will be staying in her beautiful guest house. A tour of the guest house coming soon along with more cooking videos with her new Bahamian friends. And they have a spot to fill on their trip to Spain next year.
My hunch, there will be some seashell business in the future!

idk why but I was surprised when I saw that. While I do not miss having artificial nail tips I did find doing them myself kind of therapeutic?
I have to say Lisa’s trips sound kind of awesome but I wonder if the vibe has changed a lot since her husband now accompanies her. During her live chats he did not seem outgoing.

If they are real, why does she need so many? Leave them to nature or others. Maybe she WILL be selling them!
