I remember the āOmelette Barā being a thing on, I believe, āKing of Queens.ā
That may or may not be where I got the idea. Oh yeah I forgot about David, heād be in that old guard group too. Thanks for the spell correct on omelette by the way.
Yes, the āEggsit Strategyā episode. Carrieās flaky boss whoās getting the ax puts her in charge of making sure he gets a proper omelette bar send-off complete with a man in a chefās hat and not, ājust a card and ice cream cake for losersā on his last day ![]()
David looks bored and unhappy
He did say again on his FB live this week that he is NOT retiring. He said they would have to drag him out of there. Donāt know why he feels he has to keep repeating this.
He has to keep repeating it because of stories like this where his ladies hear something about a retirement and go nuts and keep begging him to not leave them. I think he will not announce anything, except for maybe on his last day, say good-bye. Then, maybe he might have a party off-screen. I donāt know. I also think itās funny that Ant said that there will be 2 retirements and 1 will make us sad - what about the other one??? If someone has been there long enough to retire, I would assume we know them well. The only person of retirement age I can think that we donāt like is Blabs. But, I donāt see her retiring any time soon, unfortunately.
Add in narcissism and drama queen and it explains a lot.
Did Ant say two would be āretiringā? I thought she alluded to two leaving or being let go.
She did - and that we would be sad to see one of them leave. That implies that we will not miss the other one, whoever he or she may be.
When Antonella was fired from QVC, she probably put the Malocchio on everyone who entered and exited Studio Park. Who knows, perhaps this crazy, angry Italian is responsible in a very large way for the downfall of QVC? Stranger Things . . . . . . .

Thatās Lisaās house? Iām a bit underwhelmed. Strange to post so many pics of things looking in disarray, along with the cigs on the counter.
I saw diva the other day and he did seem off. Doesnāt look healthy and odd affect. Talks without making eye contact with OAP or cohost.
Iād hope they give Rick a nice send off if he is indeed retiring. He can be over the top but heās been a valuable asset to Q; energetic, prepared, shows interest in products, and interacts well with OAPs and cohosts.
David does seem off. He has started repeating stories only a few minutes after heās told it. On Sundayās ITKWD he was picking the filling out of those strombolis with his fingers, and eating it. Not something he would have done a while back.
I will miss Rick, tooā¦just seems like a good guy. Shawn recently said that Rick is the unofficial host leader, or something to that effect.
You know I agree with you about Rick. Katrina used to be my host and show to watch. The only time I regularly checked the program schedule and wrote down when sheād be hosting! I look for Rick now because heās not regularly assigned except maybe Saturday day shows?
If QVC was doing me favors, theyād convince Guy to move North and switch to QVC. Iāve listened to him enough now to almost like him as much as Rick. He doesnāt have canned responses; he works well with brand reps. And I still think he and Rick could do a regular show together too.
How about a āRick and Guyā show?
La Diva might be very threatened by that.
Guy knows food and worked in the restaurant business.
And Iāve never heard him describe anything as lovely or remarkable.
A Rick and Guy show would be great!
Maybe a āRick and OneGuyā show?
Just saw the awful āCourtney Casonā on CBS Steals & Deals this morning. Yecch! Yesterday they had Gabrielle Kerr. Another pasture for old QVC hosts to go out to.
what is so awful about Casonā¦
and what is bad about doing a job
