Wow, I didn’t know this stuff about Lisa’s history with Katie, and now David.
I remember randomly seeing Lisa doing a disingenuous speech addressing Katie’s absence, awkwardly saying how much she’d be missed. At that point Katie had been gone for a while and I guess people kept asking about her. It was obvious there was something more going on and Lisa had no use for her any more.
She strikes me as the type who is an opportunist user “friend” and ghosts you if you dare to move on to better things. Just my impression.
Do you remember that strange woman Nancy Barlow Swisher that worked for QVC and then Lisa? She quit several years ago and soon after wrote a scathing Facebook post about narcissists. I have no doubt who she was talking about. Robertson only cares about Robertson and is only your pal until she doesn’t need you anymore.
According to her Facebook page, Nancy moved back to Pennsylvania a few months ago. She was funny on Lisa’s Facebook livestreams, and I sometimes got the impression Lisa didn’t like the way the attention went to Nancy instead of on her and her products.
I always cracked up laughing when reading some of the best moments of Sheila Johnson’s time at QVC on TWOP then Primer. The time when she said “look at all this s**t” when an OAP was with her. To the time when she read the sizes of a clothing product “small, medium and lonely” to when she got Coney Island mixed up with Ellis Island. She was one of a kind
Most likely he has income from investments that he pays taxes on. Owing taxes just means you didn’t have enough money withheld, as you would if getting a paycheck. Could also be he is taking withdrawals from a 401K or IRA. Both of which are taxable. I don’t feel sorry for him. We all pay taxes whether it’s from withholding from our paycheck or at the end when we file.
He probably got a tidy severance package, also taxable.
I thought it was interesting the way he makes it sound like he hand wrote a check, although I guess he needed to say that to set up his lame glitter joke.
He’s as tiresome now as he was when he would “work” on Q2 and brag about how he was best buds with everyone who owned products he was shilling and the classic cars he was restoring.
A former host Steve ________is a member of a QVC FB group I belong to and every once in awhile he posts something. It’s always some way of bragging on himself. I did not care for him as a host.
