As a person who underwent chemo and radiation, I can speak that yes, my teeth went to hell because of the poison that was being fed into my veins to save my life. While I was focused on my cancer treatments, the dentist was the furthest thing from my mind. However, once I was back to some normalcy I visited the dentist, and will say she is the sweetest, kindest dentist ever. I cried when I told her that I had put off my teeth to focus on my chemo/radiation. She cried with me. She repaired what needed to be repaired and get this, she guarantees her work. A filling popped out the other week, she fixed/replaced, at no charge to me. Antonella saying that she walked out of the dentist office crying and in such extreme pain seems suspect, unless she was at a dentist who is sketchy to begin with. Additionally, there are ways to recoup money spent on poor work, especially if she has the current dentist supporting her claim. JMO. I get the anxiety over scans. I have one coming up on Friday and to say I donât sleep much until results are in is putting it mildly. I donât wish this on anyone. What I cannot understand nor do I condone, is her constant whining about poor me when from a viewer only standpoint, sheâs not doing much to help herself.
Iâm not questioning her truly having dental problems from the cancer treatments. Iâm questioning the botched job. I think she has now gone to the dentist and needs to pay for extensive work sheâll need and has come up with the botched job story to garner sympathy and funding. Again, she has done numerous videos in the past 3 weeks and seemed fine, and never mentioned this supposed quack dentist she went toâŚand now made sure to mention $12,000.
I agree with you MickMack, and I hope you didnât read my post differently. She posted multiple videos including her thankful to be back on Facebook and didnât seem to have an issue with her teeth. I think we can all agree, unless you are somehow super blessed, mouth/tooth pain is the absolute worst⌠I doubt she would be as jolly if it were true. Especially given her mouth and tongue expressionsâŚ

$12,000 was what she said she paid the supposed first dentist for the botched job. The Novocain was because she had just gotten back from the second dentist. Thinking about it, why would she get Novocain for a consultation? According to Ant, the second dentist confirmed that the first dentist really messed up. Now she has to pay the second âfamilyâ dentist, as well, to have the work corrected.

No disrespect intended to our Dental Wizard, the Esteemed Dr. Nester, but dentists stopped usung Novacaine back in the 1980âs. Carbocaine/Mepivacaine replaced Novacaine as they target the treatment area without having to numb the entire side of your face, and the resulting numbness doesnât last as long.

@notanxxs. Iâm so sorry you had to go through that journey and i guess it never ends. My mother had breast cancer too and double mastectomy. Your dentist guaranteeing her work is phenomenal. I agree that Antâs story of being in such pain at the first dentist office is suspect. Why wouldnât one expect some help with that before leaving? You also made a valid point of entertaining a lawsuit for such shoddy work.

Ok, I know dental work can be expensive and add up quickly. There always seems to be multiple steps that lead to more work, etc. I have had a fair amount of work done over the past two years. A root canal, a tooth extracted, a crown, a filling and an implant. It was in the thousands, yes, but not close to $ 12,000. What was Ant having done for $ 12K ? And, for that much money, if it was shoddy work, I would certainly be suing them or seeking compensation in some manner.
Totally agree I would sue as well. Itâs difficult to feel sorry for her as she can work and so can hubby. Seems she doesnât do anything to help herself.
Something tells me that she hasnât seen the inside of a dental office for quite some time. And the side effects of the the chemo, meds and other treatments took their toll. At this point she should be grateful to be alive and ask the dentist what he recommends. What SHE wants just might not work depending on the current condition of her teeth and jawbones.
At this point, I do not believe anything that Ant says. Too much history and embellishment. She appears, in my opinion only, to be a lying grifters in a family of lying grifters. If anyone is offended at my opinion, then I apologize. I do not though, retract my opinion.
