I would think that the number of HSN hosts who would leave the Florida sunshine to move to the frozen north could directly correlate to the number who were smart/conservative with money management vs those who weren’t. Any younger hosts would simply need to determine if there are opportunities in Fla that could provide a “good enough” income, if they don’t want to move. I also suspect that this could be why we’re seeing long time hosts leaving the Q. I would imagine they are being incentivized to do so. First in-first out method of culling the more expensive herd. I look for Rick, Leah, Jayne and Jane to follow. ---

I don’t think she’s left much doubt that she’s ready to go. She and her husband are going to travel, initially to the southwest. I think she’s ready. ---

I’m sort of hoping that they utilize the QVC2, 3 or both channels to insert the HSN programming. I find the constant reruns to be boring and nutty. ---

@SuperElevated I have to respectfully disagree about long time hosts being incentivized to leave QVC. I think it’s coincidental that there are three long time hosts leaving. Mary Beth turned 65 or 66 and wanted to retire and spend time traveling and with grandkids. JCon married Mr. Moneybags and was able to do whatever she pleased. I think Kermeme’s contract was not renewed because QVC realized she could be a liability and/or just didn’t want to deal with her preaching religious and health views. I’m not expecting to see Jane, David, Rick or other long time hosts leaving anytime soon. I might be wrong, but we will see. ---

As in “The Shining”, David Venable has always been a host at QVC. He was in the past. He is in the present. And he will be in the future. QVC won’t let him leave. Studio Park was built over an Indian burial ground. His ghost will roam the halls forever. The cycle will repeat in an endless loop of time: Past, present, and future. ---

Does QVC sell any normal length pants ? It seems everything is either cropped, ankle length or ridiculously long. ---

And they try to promote whatever length it is as just right. Regular length can vary from 27” to 31”. At 5’4”, even the regular length is either too short or too long. I can get by with a 28” inseam in the summer with sandals, but not in the colder months. Best is 29-30” for me, as I rarely wear heels. ---

Those of you who were hoping against hope that someday JRT would leave for Florida and host on HSN, well, I’m thinking that is not in the cards now. The wildest part of this was some comment from Rhonda Shear (do I have the name correctly?) saying her elaborate studio is set to open across from the old HSN location. And soon? Surreal. Also, who is Rhonda Shear anyway? I feel badly for the HSN staffers, in front of and behind the scenes.
