I think she just wants time to settle in with the family. I am still thinking that she and Joey have a new baby. She doesn’t want or need anyone’s tips or suggestions or interference and just wants to get used to being a mommy, I think. She has her REAL mom for help, if she needs it, or I am sure her QVC mommy would be there to help.

I’m hoping that for her own sake, CoKo has distanced herself from Jane (I assume that’s who you mean by QVC mommy). Jane’s a stalker at this point and I wouldn’t want her anywhere near me or my family.

Yes it would be a nightmare to be inundated with unsolicited advice from the masses during the newborn adjustment phase, if that’s what’s happening.
And once everyone gets the green light to discuss, I think Blabby will LIT-RALLY never shut up about this and will make a move to annoint herself an honorary grandmother, or godmother, or any self created title.

Other hosts have had kids or adopted. I don’t remember unsolicited advice, just congratulations, how wonderful, etc.
I find it hard to believe that they adopted a human. She doesn’t come across as motherly to me… she’s more paris hilton, you know, would hire someone to do the dirty work and just be around for photo ops.

I was going to say, watch out, Blabby will kidnap the baby and drag her down to Disney. But then I remembered Coko is also a Disney fanatic and will probably do it herself before too long.
I’m kind of torn on the mystery being adoption. It is a long time which could certainly be for maternity leave. But why the secrecy ? Once the adoption was final, wouldn’t they have wanted to make a happy announcement and even have a shower to get some baby things ? Maybe a family member has had surgery or something and Coko is being a caretaker ?

Who says that no one knows about Courtney? If she adopted a baby, I am sure they DO know and are respecting her request for privacy. They very easily could have had a shower or a party and only her real friends and colleagues know. There was no need to inform the masses of well-intentioned strangers.

Why would anyone care really? If she’s not ill then whatever. If she adopted I’m pretty sure The Filthy Heaux aka Shawn would blab it out 100 times.

We are just discussing something amongst ourselves. Isn’t that what a forum is for ? None of us are harassing the woman. If they’ve adopted a child, then I’m happy for them. It’s just a curious situation and so we are talking about it.

Maybe we’ll find out something about Coco’s absence tonight. Dennie Basso has a “Dennis and Friends” show tonight. Courtney always hosted these shows with him, so maybe he’ll let something slip out at the beginning of the show.
I applaud everyone at the Q who has either respectfully chosen to honor Courtney’s wishes, or did so because they were threatened with expulsion if they did not comply.
Anyone dealing with a family issue deserves at least that much respect.
And I highly doubt that Basso would ever do something so cruel and unprofessional.

I don’t know why people are making such a big deal about Courtney not being there. No one cared when Nancy Yoon was out for months and no one knew why. But Courtney takes off and everyone thinks she’s adopting a child??
