Bad To The Pubic Bone

A deathbed is a sacred moment between the patient and their family, loved ones and God. Not to be put on blast on social media for your OWN sympathy. My goodness this woman is insidious, narcissistic and insufferable.

She posted a deathbed photo with her mother. You can still see it on her Facebook page.

When my FIL died, my MIL dressed him in a Norwegian sweater and put a Norwegian flag in his hand. Then my husband’s siblings (my husband was already dead) and the MIL dressed in matching sweaters and posed around the coffin. They had photos taken - I swear this is factual - and used them as their Christmas cards that year. It was horrifying enough to see it in person for my 6 and 9 year old children so that when the framed prints showed up at my house, I threw them in the trash. Not a big fan of coffin photos.

Sorry if this was an overshare. This ghoulish death photo stuff triggers me (and probably now you as well). Again, apologies to all of you.

Just when I think Kerdespicable can’t sink any lower she proves me wrong.

   Normally, I can overlook their idiocy, but this hits hard because my cousin will be burying her thirty five year old son on Wednesday after a hard fought battle with cancer, and it breaks my heart to see her trying to navigate her way through this process. This morning they were going through photos, all chosen featuring happy, smiling faces and cherished memories. Those are the photos you are supposed to post of the people you love. I loathe these two mental midgets for trying to profit and promote themselves from the suffering and death of those around them, those they claim to care about.

I am sorry for your loss.

This sounds like Victorian death photos. The family would dress the corpse and have a picture taken, posed with the family or alone. And then take a swatch of hair from the deceased and wear it in some form of jewelry. I guess some folks today still have these customs. It seems odd in today’s society, but every family has it’s quirks.

Quirky barely covers it with that family…:joy:

I’m calling her a performative grifter. There’s not an apparent deep-down feeling in her that is not without some opportunistic ploy. Narcissists cannot stand back and see their behavior; they just keep steamrolling along oblivious to any common decency.

I really wish that people would stop giving her attention for this behavior. It only encourages her to continue thinking (believing) that she is somehow relevant and has something positive to contribute to **anyone. She is operating within such narrow parameters of “knowledge,” and I truly think she poses a danger to her family and also to anyone who treats her as if she can be taken as a serious source of information about pretty much anything. Call her a charlatan, a crackpot, a liar, she is for sure delusional. It’s too bad that QVC still allows her to be on air at all because it puts her face in front of people who continue to follow her on social media. It just continues to make her think her she has something important to say.

Just took a look at the website for Spirence Wellness. A preventative mental health platform for employers. Which is fine. They have about 90 individuals listed on their Contributors page. Granted, I don’t know what some of the abbreviations stand for in the credentials for these people, but at a quick glance, most of them seem to have a bachelor’s, master’s or even a PhD in some mental health related or adjacent field. She is identified as an “IIN Certified Health Coach and Emmy award winning journalist and author.” I can’t believe she’s still identifying herself as a “medical researcher” in that video. I wonder if she’s going to be pushing her “biblical truths” on these clients ? And, if I’m looking for a mental health professional, do I really care if they won an Emmy at a local news station ? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

If she’s still calling herself a medical researcher, I’m gonna start calling myself a bullshit detector and flagger.
